I thought I didn't like nor eat ribs, or BBQ for that matter. Now I do. Paul Gant is a 'gonna be tough to beat'. Ribs, collard greens n potato salad. Fantastic! White sliced bread n cornbread, part of the culture but not my thing. How hot is it in that food truck on the day u indulge should determine your tip!

Oh my goodness.. So good!! Pork butt chopped bbq with slaw was tender, juicy and had so much flavor. Heavenly. Sit on one of their benches behind the trailer for some shade. You'll find Paul's just before the dollar general market!

We have food for the whole weekend thanks to Linda and her team. Well done ladies!!! Six stars if I could. She also had the patience to deal w my brother and I throughout our very excited order. Thx again.

First time here, but not the last. Went with the hungry man so we could try all three meats and were glad we did.nice flavor, tasty sides and wonderful people. Give it a try if you are in the area.

Wow!! Some of the best BBQ we've ever had. The trailer doesn't look like much, but don't let that scare you. These folks know what they are doing! We got two hungry man dinners and a half rack of ribs and fed a family of five for less than $40!! You get a lot for the money and after spending over $100 at another restaurant in town, that was refreshing. Do get there early because they sell out fast. A local told us their peach cobbler is to die for, but we were too late for dessert. :(

We stopped here on our way out of town Saturday. We found the recommendation on one of the vacation home rental sites ( cathyscapesanblasvacatio… ) free plug for a great recommendation. What a find! We tried the HungryMan (3 meats and 2 sides) and an extra Boston Butt sandwich - with collard greens and potatoe salad for the sides. Everything was very good - the pulled pork was tasty and moist, and when the sauce was added made for an excellent sandwich. I really liked the seasoning on the chicken. The ribs were devoured in two shakes - they were quite tasty as well. My wife couldn't stop praising the greens. The potatoe salad was of the sweeter style - while not my favorite, it too was all gone in short order. The HungryMan also comes with a couple of slices of bread, so you can make a sandwich, or just sop... We also got an order of the peach cobbler - it is a steal at $1.00! The doughy type of crust I remember from Scout campouts - my favorite! When we drove up, we were thrid in line to order. When we left there were 6 or 7 vehicles in the parking area. This is a BBQ trailer in a gravel lot on the side of the road - with fantastic food - try it, I think you will be glad you did!!!

As always, our food was delicious. One suggestion, call ahead and place your order. They often run out of some stuff. The ribs are my favorite

Before heading out of town, please stop by. We used them for our catering at our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. Absolutely stole the show. If we had to do it all over again, we would have used them for our reception dinner as well! It's that good! Plus Mrs. Gant is a gem and so very much exactly what we needed in order to make everything good and smooth! Served 80 of us with zero problems and we had plenty of leftovers the next two days! Can't say enough great things about this place or the great people that run it.

Paul Gant's -- my new definition of BBQ rib excellence. Pretty much a flavor explosion in your mouth. I've only had the ribs so far, but plan on checking out the chicken and pulled pork in the near future. If you are visiting Port St. Joe -- or anywhere nearby -- make sure to stop by and give it a try. (Although make sure to time your trip for the weekend, as they are only open Thursday through Saturday).

Hungry man that's all u need to say and you get chicken ribs pulled pork beans potato salad an white bread and the BBQ sauce rocks!! Just do it.

I get a grin on my face watching the cars with Ontario Canada License tags lined up in the parking for Paul's BBQ. This place is a local gem. The pulled pork is off the chain and the collard sides are a big hit as well. You know it's good because they have call in orders ahead of time to reserve ribs and chicken because sometimes they get completely cleaned out of every chicken down to the wing...it's that good !
